Marketing & Growth Trustee: Help Tap into IT Build for the Future
What We Do
At Tap into IT, we bridge the digital divide in Edinburgh. We provide vital digital-inclusion support and training to ensure older adults and isolated individuals have the confidence and skills to stay connected online.
We’ve proved that our model works. Our long-term goal is to expand our reach across the city, but we aren’t rushing into it. Right now, we are focused on strengthening our foundations – streamlining our internal systems, ensuring everything doesn’t depend on a few team members and setting up the right guardrails so we can scale sustainably. We need a strategic Trustee to help us guide this transition.
Who We Need
We’re looking for someone with a background in commercial growth, marketing, or third-sector scaling who wants to get stuck into strategic development.
We need someone who can help us:
- Build Infrastructure: Help us refine our strategy and further develop our internal systems to cope with growing demand.
- Formalise Our Offer: Package our services so they are clear, professional, and ready for future large-scale partnerships or procurement.
- Grow Our Network: Use your Edinburgh connections to help us build links with local Councils, housing associations, NHS professionals and care homes.
- Guide Funding Strategy: Advise on B2B relationship building, public sector contracts, or social enterprise investment.
The Commitment We are a small, ambitious charity. To make this next phase a reality, we need a Trustee who can actively help steer the ship, not just attend quarterly meetings. We expect this will take around 4 hours a month.
If you have the skills to help us bridge the gap between a successful proof-of-concept and sustainable city-wide impact, we’d love to hear from you.
