Beat Online Scammers

Friends Against Scams, a National Trading Standards initiative, in partnership with several banks and other organisations, is hosting a number of presentations at Edinburgh libraries ( Morningside, Fountainbridge, Stockbridge and Central) this month (June 2019).

The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness of the types of scams (by phone, email and even text) that are currently prevalent.

Advice and guidance will be given to help protect and prevent people from becoming a victim of these types of fraud.
